Project Vickers - Kitchen renovation

Project description

Kitchen Renovation
This is the same property where we upgraded the staircase balustrade – see project here. When these apartments were built, the “in-thing” was cherry wood and dark counters… and for this space, it just did not work. The layout made the kitchen feel very small, the large counter top encroached on the dining area space and there was no flow. So we ripped out the dark granite tops (The client sold them) and customised the cabinets without having to remove or destroy them. We then painted the cherrywood sections that were still visible. Installed Supagloss Iceberg White door and drawer fronts with no handles – initially the client wanted tpush to open which is how the kitchen renovation ended. We then changed to powder coated white lip handles – almost invisible but with a practical element too. The client chose to keep the lip handles and do away with the push to open.
